Blue Heron
Blue Heron is a Modern Farmhouse at its best. It has a beautiful neutral palette. I wanted to bring warmth and texture to the space, a “coziness” that was achieved by adding a beautiful wood beam and wood accents, new lighting, and wood trim. Although the walls are white the texture of the added wood trim adds dimension. The inviting entry opens your senses to want to see more of the space and get an unexpected pop of bold color and function when it comes to the mudroom space. The client allowed me to stretch her comfort zone with this design, it turned out gorgeous and delivered exactly what she was looking for. This is the definition of making #AHowseAHome.
Moving into a new home with a sea of white walls and no inspiration or direction was extremely overwhelming for a get it done girl like myself! From my initial consultation with Krysta, to the mood board with items for purchase at the click of a button, to the completion of the project, she was ALWAYS available. She monitored every detail of the project and coaxed me through some hesitation on my part regarding decor. I couldn’t be any happier with how the Blue Heron Project came together. I get compliment after compliment from all my guest on how beautiful the design is. Don’t hesitate for a moment to make the investment! Krysta truly took this house and made it our home.
